Our client required a completely new merchandising solution to replace a dated fixture that was costly to install.
Installing almost 300 meters of fixture per annum into the trade, the design needed to be visually dynamic, more robust and the installation process needed to be simplified, whilst reducing the overall cost.
2/ INITIAL SKETCHES
A range of building materials were incorporated including an off-the-shelf scaffold system and solid wood scaffold planks, both added authenticity.
Co-ordination between different manufacturers and suppliers ensured a seemless transition from the old to the new fixture.
The modular display required no pre-install survey and the new fixture can be built by one person.
The brand equity has been dramatically improved and visibility has increased.
A highly shoppable experience, improved brand visibility and a design that is fit for purpose and costs significantly reduced.
In order to achieve top shelf in cough, the client needed to leverage an additional exclusive package of ideas for a major retailer.

2/ LOGO CREATION
A key ingredient of this project was our creation of 2 new logos.
Successfully completed, we wanted the logos to form visual cues for the final cdu.
Previous years designs that were produced were more traditional.
Creative thinking unlocked the potential we created within the logos.
4/ FINAL DESIGN
The final design represented a significant diversion from traditional cdu’s.
Clever use of the on-the-go logo create a unique design.
Our cardboard engineers faithfully converted our 3d visuals into a physical cardboard proposal.
We developed a drop feed dispenser for bicycle inner tubes for UK retailers, the fabricated 3 column display was adequate for the UK trade but lacked flexibility to be exported.
The clients global team requested we re-imagine our original design; improve scalability and modularity, add strength and reduce overall cost.
The original design was neither modular nor capable of large scale production.
Being pre-fabricated the unit was also bulky and therefore costly to ship, especially if exported.
Being flat-packed solved the export issue and the wall mounting system can fit any pitch slat-wall whilst the locking tabs added modularity.
During development of the dispenser we added details to allow the singles channels to be locked together, this introduced modularity and provided flexibility.
An adjustable bottom clip ensured the channels could be secured to any pitch
Injection moulding addressed the scale issues, the process also added a premium aesthetic whilst embossed and tip printed logos reinforced brand equity.
Currently being installed throughout the US and Europe.
